Area Manager Dublin Area required for Unicarepharmacy
Unicarepharmacy is recruiting for an Area Manager in the Dublin area. Are you an experienced retail manager with the relevant experience looking to progress in your career? For the successful candidate, this is an exciting opportunity to become responsible for leading a number of our pharmacies. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of all Pharmacies in the area by implementing all Support Office initiatives, policies and strategies and providing constructive feedback to and from the Pharmacies. This role is field-based Some of the main duties will include the following: Drive sales using the tools supplied from the Support Office to ensure that the total sales budget for the area is achieved as a minimum Ensure excellence in customer service in Pharmacy Seek new business opportunities by examining thelocal markets and competitor activities and communicate to the relevant Support Office department Ensure all margin opportunities are capitalised upon and there is no avoidable leakage of profit Ensure all product ordering is optimal and as per Company guidelines Support the Pharmacy teams tocontrol costs and actively monitor this Ensure that all Company standards and legislative requirements are adhered to Ensure all Pharmacy Managers and Colleagues are aware of and understand their roles and responsibilities in the pharmacy Coach, motivate and encourage all Colleagues andPharmacy Managers Ensure effective communication between the Pharmacies and the Support Office Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented effectively Knowledge and Experience required: A strong business acumen Excellent retail and/or pharmacy knowledge A least fiveyears’ management experience Experience of successfully managing large teams Proven ability to think analytically and strategically Proven experience of leading successfully from a distance Ability to understand, calculate and manage budgets and targets Proven experience in maximisingperformance Proven leadership skills The successful candidate will: Have personal and professional credibility Be able to work within Company policies and procedures Be able to motivate and develop a winning team Be self motivated, innovative and creative Have excellentinterpersonal and influencing skills Have excellent time management skills Must show initiative and an ability to think “outside the box” Have a strong attention to detail Be prepared and always have a plan for the future in place Be able to react quickly and make a rapid decision whenrequired Have an ability to establish positive relationships Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral Be flexible and mobile Have a full clean driving licence Please note we do not require the assistance of recruitment agencies at this time.
