Supported Housing Locum Workers Needed Central Care is a leading independent social care recruitment agency supplying quality staff to some of the most dynamic and forward thinking organisations within the social care and housing sectors. Our clients work with young homeless and rough sleepers with complex support needs that include ex offenders, substance misuse (both drug and alcohol), teenage parents and mental health issues. You will play a key role in supporting clients within the hostels to address their varyingsupport needs. These are challenging and exciting roles and will suit individuals with drive and determination as well as empathy for the clients they are supporting. Candidates will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure. You will befamiliar with providing support to service users in all aspects of everyday life, whilst promoting independence. Candidate will have: A minimum of 12 months experience of support planning and of keyworking homeless clients with mental health, substancemisuse and other support needs. Knowledge and understanding of the issues, which affect the young and homeless. Based on the demands of our customers, Central Care can only register candidates eligible to work in the UK, seeking a minimum of 28 hours workweekly therefore having 4 days per week availability for a period of 6 months.
