Sector involvement includes medical equipment, aerospace, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals and power generation. Responsibility covers the broad quality, health, safety and environmental remit ensuring that quality systems and standards are maintained and that there is full workforce recognition and participation in the pursuance of the exactingstandards and continuous improvements expected by the markets and the sectors supplied. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the Operations Director this position calls for a degree qualified manufacturing quality specialist with a full grasp ofmajor quality systems such as ISO 9001 and environmental standards to ISO 14001. Additional NEBOSH qualifications would be advantageous. Experience of small batch manufacturing environments is important together with the ability to demonstrate live, hands-on, implementation of modern qualitypractices and principles.
